Returns & Exchanges Policy (Online Orders)

Eligibility Window

All return or exchange requests must be initiated within 48 hours of delivery.To request a return or exchange, please email sales@hobbymaniaz.com.au within this 48-hour window with your order number and reason for return.Requests submitted after 48 hours of delivery will not be accepted.

Condition of Returned Items

Returned items must be unused, unworn, and in original condition with all original packaging intact; not altered, assembled, or damaged after delivery.

Change of Mind Returns

Change-of-mind returns are accepted only if the item meets the eligibility and condition requirements above. Original shipping and handling fees are non-refundable. Return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns are the customer’s responsibility. Promotional or discounted shipping rates do not apply to return shipments.

Return Authorisation Process

Do not send items back without approval.Before returning any item, you must:

Email sales@hobbymaniaz.com.au to obtain a Return Authorisation (RA).
Wait for confirmation and return instructions.
Securely package the item to prevent damage during transit.

Returns sent without authorisation may be refused.

Return shipping costs must be prepaid by the customer unless the return is due to our error.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery at sales@hobbymaniaz.com.au.

Your email must include: order number, clear photos of the item, photos of the external packaging and internal packaging materials, and adetailed description of the issue.

Claims submitted without photo evidence or outside the 48-hour window will not be accepted.

Damage During Transit

All orders are carefully inspected before dispatch. Hobby Maniaz is not responsible for damage caused during shipping. If your item is damaged in transit: A claim must be lodged with the shipping carrierIf the carrier requires the sender to lodge the claim, contact us within 48 hours and we will assist.

Resolution Options for Our Errors

If the issue is confirmed to be due to a manufacturer defect or incorrect item sent, we will offer one of the following:

Store Credit

Issued as a unique coupon code via emailCan be used on any future purchase at hobbymaniaz.com.au. Store credits do not expire. Issued within 3 business days of claim approval.

Refund

Processed to the original payment method. Typically completed within 3–5 business days, depending on your bank.

Refused or Unclaimed Shipments

Orders that are refused, returned to sender, or unclaimed will incur:

All actual outbound shipping costs
All return shipping charges billed by the carrier

Please note: Actual carrier charges may exceed the shipping fee paid at checkout due to subsidised shipping rates.
