THE FOLLOWING RETURN POLICY APPLIES TO GENERAL ONLINE PURCHASES:

Eligibility Window: Initiate returns or exchanges within 48 hours of receiving your package. Email customer service at sales@hobbymaniaz.com.au within this timeframe to request a return or exchange. Claims made after 48 hours will not be accepted.

Condition of Items: To be eligible for a return or exchange, items must be in their original, unused, unopened condition, including all original packaging. Items that have been worn or altered will be returned to the customer at their expense.

Non-Refundable Costs: Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable. Shipping costs for returns/exchanges due to change of mind will not be covered by the promotional shipping rate.

Return Process: For faster and more effective service, please contact us via email before sending your package to obtain a return authorization. Ensure that items are securely packaged for the return shipment to prevent any further damage. This precaution helps us process your return more efficiently and prevents additional issues.

DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE OR WRONG ITEMS:

 We diligently inspect all orders for damages and defects before they leave our warehouse, ensuring the highest quality.

Defective or Incorrect Items: Contact our customer service via email (sales@hobbymaniaz.com.au) within 48 hours of delivery to report any defective or incorrect items. Include a detailed description of the issue. Claims made after 48 hours will not be accepted.

For each defective item, submit a photo of the item and its packaging materials. Please describe the damage in detail. Claims without accompanying documentation will not be accepted.

Damage During Transit: Hobby Maniaz is not liable for damages caused during shipping. If your item is damaged upon arrival, please file a claim directly with the shipping company. If the carrier requires the shipper to file on your behalf, contact us within 48 hours, and we will assist you with the claim process.  Please keep the shipment packaging in case of inspection by the carrier company
Compensation for Errors: 

If you receive a manufacturer defective or incorrect item, we offer two forms of compensation: a store credit or a direct refund. 

  • Store Credit: You will receive a unique coupon number via email that can be used on any future purchase at hobbymania.com.au. Store credits are permanent and do not expire. Expect to receive your store credit within three (3) working days after your claim is processed.
  • Refund: If you prefer a refund, it will be processed directly to your original method of payment. Refunds typically take 1-4 working days, depending on your bank’s processing times.

 

REFUSED AND UNCLAIMED SHIPMENTS:

Any packages that are refused or remain unclaimed will incur charges for all actual shipping costs. This includes fees for both outbound and return shipments as charged by shipping carriers.
Please note that the actual shipping costs may be higher than those charged at checkout, as we offer discounted shipping rates to our customers.
